Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Tire Shop Playbook ("we", "us") collects when you visit tireshopplaybook.com or buy one of our kits, and how we use it. Tire Shop Playbook is run by an individual sole proprietor. Questions: hello@tireshopplaybook.com.

The short version

• This website has no accounts, no forms, no ad trackers and no analytics scripts, and it doesn't set cookies.
• Purchases happen on Gumroad. Gumroad collects your payment details; we never see your full card number.
• We use the information Gumroad shares with us only to deliver your order, support you and keep business records. We don't sell it.

Information we collect

When you browse this site

The site is a set of static pages. We don't ask you for anything. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information that every web request carries (such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Fonts and images load from this site, not from third parties.

When you download the free cheat sheet

The PDF is a direct download. We don't ask for your email or any other information.

When you buy a kit

Checkout, payment, receipts and file delivery are handled by Gumroad. Gumroad shares with us the information we need to fulfill and support your order, such as your name or email address, what you bought, the price and the date. Gumroad's use of your information is covered by Gumroad's privacy policy.

When you email us

If you email hello@tireshopplaybook.com, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.

How we use it

• To deliver what you bought and help when a file doesn't work.
• To answer your questions.
• To keep the records a business needs, such as sales and tax records.
• If we send product update emails to buyers through Gumroad, every email has an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run the business (Gumroad for sales and delivery, Cloudflare for hosting, and our email provider), with professional advisers such as an accountant when needed, or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep order and email records for as long as we need them to support you and to meet tax and accounting obligations, then delete them.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we must keep by law. Email hello@tireshopplaybook.com. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights under local privacy laws.

Children

This site and our kits are for businesses. They're not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Payments are processed by Gumroad. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so please don't email us payment card details.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
